Bangladesh has sent a consignment of Haribhanga mangoes famous for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yunus’s move is understood that his dream of bypassing India has not been fulfilled and he has to return to old relations between India and Bangladesh.

This mango will serve as a symbol of tension between the two countries and goodwill between Dhaka and New Delhi after changing the government last year. Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus has sent a thousand kilograms of mangoes to Prime Minister Modi, expressing friendship between the two neighbors. Officials informed that this consignment will reach New Delhi on Monday.

Mango sent not only to PM Modi but also to the state

The Yunus government has not only sent these common to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but mangoes have also been sent to the states bordering Bangladesh. A consignment has also been sent to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha.

There has been an old tradition of sending mangoes every year to Indian Prime Minister and state leaders to strengthen cultural relations and regional diplomacy in Bangladesh.

Haribhanga mango is special

Haribhanga mango is a popular mango of Bangladesh. Most of its farming is done in Rangpur district. The size of this mango is larger than the rest of the mangoes and the pulp is very high in it. Some mangoes are up to 700 grams. This mango starts from the third week of June and gets the entire July.
