Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Maharaja Nishadraj, a friend of Lord Shri Ram, first recognized the sovereignty of Shri Ram. The fisherman community threatens its life and cultivates in water, it is an act of courage. Fish and fishermen have been related for centuries. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many schemes are run through the Fishermen Welfare Board in the state. The state government is giving benefits of employment to the youth. Fish farming is also an industry, it will also get all the facilities like other industries.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also performed land-worship of 453 smart fish parlors at a cost of Rs 22 crore 65 lakh and also virtual land in Indira Sagar Dam at about 92 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspired the fisherman community for a better life.

CM Mohan Yadav’s big announcement in Nishad Raj Conference

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state level Nishad Raj Sammelan and training program held at the Kalidas Sanskrit Academy campus in Ujjain on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition related to fisheries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the state level conference by lighting the lamp and offering flowers on the statue of Lord Nishadraj.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that now fisheries is not just a traditional work, but a modern industry. Investment will increase, production will increase and youth will get employment. He said that state -of -the -art Aqua Park (aquarium) is being constructed in Bhopal at a cost of 40 crores. The government will give grants to fishermen for frequency.

He said that the character government has increased the area of irrigation in the state, which is also getting the benefit of the fishermen. In the previous government, there was irrigation on only 7 lakh hectares of land in the state, this area has increased to 55 lakh hectares in our government. Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) link project will reach the area under irrigation to 100 lakh hectares. Many ponds will also be built. Fish are a means of livelihood for many people. More than 3 lakh cages will be set up in other reservoirs including Indira Sagar.

Modern hatchery will be constructed

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 430 motorcycles have been distributed to fishermen, in which ice boxes are also installed. Currently, fisheries work is being done in the state in 4.4 lakh hectares, in the year 2024-25, the fish production of the state was 3.81 lakh metric tonnes. More than 2 lakh fishermen spinach are registered in the state. Women are also a pioneer in this business.

He said that modern hatchery will be constructed for fish seed production at a cost of 217 crores. This will eliminate dependence on Bengal for seeds. Our government is working towards making the state a leading state in milk production and brain production. In the changing times, the use of modern machines and startups are beginning in the fish farming sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that according to Prime Minister Modi’s resolution, the state government is dedicated to the welfare of all classes. The time of Rakshabandhan is coming, today is the day to transfer the amount in the account of Ladli sisters.

Drug addiction campaign from 15 July to 30 July

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government will conduct de -addiction campaign in the state from July 15 to 30. The Chief Minister made the attendees resolve to avoid de -addiction and extravagance. He said that there is a need to change oneself in the changing times.

Fisherman Welfare and Fisheries Minister Narayan Singh Panwar said that the state government is making every effort for the welfare of fisheries. Many welfare schemes are being run in the state under Chief Minister Dr Yadav leadership and guidance. After the formation of a new government in the state, initiative has been started to bring backward fishermen community into the mainstream. Fishermen are being distributed fishermen credit cards to fishermen. By the year 2028, the fishermen welfare department will make many achievements in the state.

MP Fisherman Welfare Board President Sitaram Batham said that some Nishad Mangal Bhavan has been built in each district. Batham thanked the Chief Minister and said that the works which were not done in years, are now being done in months. This is a proof of the vision and sensitive leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Ujjain district in -charge minister Gautam Tetwal, MP Anil Ferozia, MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda and other public representatives and a large number of fisheries were present at the state level Nishad Raj Sammelan.
