Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab has taken a big decision. The government has announced an annual cashless health insurance of 10 lakhs for every family, which will benefit 65 lakh families of the state. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal announced this cashless insurance scheme.
The government says that every disease will be treated for free in government and private hospitals. Government employees, Anganwadi, Asha workers will also have 100 percent cover in this insurance. The scheme will be implemented in three months.
