A strange incident came to light from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. All the happiness was destroyed by Noori, a resident of village Ind Jagir of Nawabganj police station area. Noori was in love with Salman of Harharpur Matkali for two years. Both also vowed to get married. The people of the village also started discussing their love. On 28 June, Salman drove away Noori. On this, the family members of Noori complained to the police. After coming under pressure, Salman’s family reached the police station on 29 June.
The matter reached the panchayat there. The elders of both the family members gathered in the panchayat. Nikah was decided on July 2 with everyone’s consent. Strong wedding preparations started at Noori’s house. The confectionery was called, the dish started cooking. Guests started coming. Noori also sat down in the bride’s couple. Mehndi was also blooming in his hands. Everyone started waiting for the procession. But as the evening took place, everyone’s restlessness increased.
No news came from Salman. Neither the procession nor Salman. Noori’s eyes would rise again and again towards the door. But Salman disappeared by cheating him. When there was no news from Salman till late night, Noori’s heart broke.
The bride reached the police station in the wedding couple
She put mehndi in her hands in the bride’s clothes, reached the police station. Disappointment was visible on his face. Sitting in the police station, Noori started crying again and again and started telling the police- either Salman should marry me, otherwise send him to jail. He has ruined my life. The police tried hard to convince him, but Noori was adamant on his insistence. She clearly said that Salman will marry, then she will agree, otherwise she should register a case and send Salman to jail.
Noori said- who will adopt me now
Noori’s heart is completely broken by this deception. He said- I and Salman were in relationship for two years. I loved Salman. Left everything on his trust. Now he retracted. I am getting infamous in the whole village. My family members are now taunting me. They are saying who will adopt you now. The tears from Noori’s eyes were not taking the name of stopping. She would repeatedly tell the policemen, my whole life was destroyed. Now either Salman marks me, or the law should punish him.
At present, the police has started investigating the case. Salman and his family are being searched. Police say that appropriate action will be taken after investigation.
