Saqib Nachan, a former officer of the banned student Islamic Movement in India (SIMI) and accused in the Pune ISIS module case, has died in Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. 57 -year -old Nachan was brain haemorrhage. Nachan was said to be the head of the terrorist organization ISIS in India. Nachan, a resident of Padgha in Thane, Maharashtra, was admitted to a hospital in Delhi four days ago.
In the year 2023, the NIA launched a campaign to arrest ISIS terrorists across the country. During this time Nachan was also arrested. Nachan was currently in Tihar Jail. He was rushed to the hospital on 24 June. His condition in the hospital worsened. Doctors said that he had brain haemorrhage.
According to the information, his condition worsened on Saturday. Nachan died around 12 noon. Police said that after the post -mortem, the body of Nachan would be handed over to his family. He will be cremated in Borivali village near Padgha on Sunday.
After Nachan’s arrest, the NIA said that it promotes ISIS activities in the country and is an active member of the international terrorist organization. The NIA claimed that he also knew the task of training and making explosive device. He trains the terrorists.
The NIA had said that he is a prominent accused in the Pune ISIS module case. After the death of Nachan, security system has been increased in Bhiwandi and Padgha. Before the funeral of Nachan, strict monitoring is being done in the entire area.
Mumbai Blast Case In Guilty
Saqib Nachan was also convicted in the 2002-03 Mumbai blast case. He is then becoming the leader of a banned organization like SIMI. Then he was accused of spreading the ideology of ISIS in India and wandering the youth. In 2023, he was arrested along with 15 others in the Pune ISIS module case. He was sworn in for the Khalifa of ISIS to the youth.
