CM SAI said- Central Regional Council becomes a meaningful platform for development


In the 25th meeting of the Central Regional Council held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister (CM) Vishnudev Sai (SAI) said that this council has become a strong and meaningful (meaningful) platform for cooperation and coordination between the Center and the states, through which the development of various areas of central India including Chhattisgarh has been found.

Chief Minister Sai said that the Central Regional Council has made a concrete contribution towards realizing the development of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The role of the Council has been decisive in the development of the economy, internal security, cultural tourism and infrastructure of the state of Chhattisgarh.

Decisive lead against Naxalism

Speaking on the Naxal problem, Chief Minister Sai said that due to the strong will of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and better coordination between the states, there has been great success against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. He called the neutralizing of top Naxalite leaders like Basavaraju and Sudhakar as the backbone of Naxalism. He informed that we are also working on projects worth several thousand crores like Bodhghat-Mahanadi Indravati link for the development of Bastar. Rawaghat-Jagdalpur railway line project also got approval There is an important step in the direction.

Solid work towards development and good governance

The Chief Minister informed the council that the suggestions made in the last meeting have been implemented rapidly. Achievements such as 28 new bank branches in Naxal-affected areas, expansion of Doyle-112 service, extracting more than 82 thousand children from malnutrition are evidence of our commitment to the development of the state.
The Chief Minister said that events like Bastar Pandum and Bastar Olympics have given a platform to local sports and cultural talents. Under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, 87.2 percent of the cards have been distributed to the citizens, and 1033 out of 1075 government hospitals have been added to it.

National leadership in energy, investment and industrial development

Chief Minister Sai said that after the implementation of the new industrial policy, the state has so far received investment proposals of Rs 5.5 lakh crore, of which 3.5 lakh crore are from the power sector. Chhattisgarh is second in power generation in the country and the target of first place has been set by 2030. The average power supply of 23 hours 27 minutes in rural areas and 23 hours 51 minutes in urban areas reflects the efficiency of the state’s energy management. Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, the work of connecting 6 lakh houses with solar energy is in progress.

Elaborate services, strong panchayats and new white revolution

The Chief Minister said that more than 1.5 lakh solar agricultural pumps in Chhattisgarh are providing irrigation facility to farmers. The MoU with NDDB will create a new expansion in milk production in the state. Atal Digital Facilitation Center is making bridges of digital good governance in panchayats and effective implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act 2011 has ensured transparent and time -bound delivery of services.

Model state formed in development and good governance

Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is participating with full devotion in the campaign to make India a developed nation. This platform of dialogue and coordination through the Central Regional Council is proving to be helpful in taking Chhattisgarh even further.
