Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Dev Sai (SAI) was interacting with a team of 96 young men and women from Nayed Nella Nella Gram Panchayats of Bijapur district of the state in his residence today. The Chief Minister said that the state government is opening a new path of peace and development in Naxal -affected areas with schemes like ‘Nayed Nella Nar’.

He said that you are the future of Chhattisgarh and with the participation of all of you, we will take Bastar region and the state forward. Sai said that while joining the ‘Nayed Nella Nar’ scheme, the picture of the villages is changing, while the youth are also getting self -sufficiency and respectable life. The Chief Minister told the youth that our government is engaged in establishing peace in your area.

Union Minister Amit Shah has decided that Naxalism has to be rooted by March 2026. He said that Maoists do not want development in your area, but we will remove all the obstacles coming through development. Bastar’s morale is giving us the energy to root out evils like Naxalism.

The Chief Minister said that there are dense forests, adorable waterfalls and high mountains in your area full of natural beauty. The land is fertile and good cultivation. Our government is working to bring water facilities to you to make farming prosperous. Sai said that all of you should promote farming and the students who are students should get good education. Your cooperation in the development of the state is very important for us. Referring to events like ‘Bastar Olympics’ and ‘Bastar Pandum’, he said that it is an expression of the soul of Bastar.

The participation of thousands of youth, women and children in these events has given a message to the world that Bastar is now moving towards the new era. We will all continue to do the work of cherishing the art, culture and heritage of Bastar. Today the people of Bastar have shown that they want peace and development, not violence.

He said that the land of Bastar has been a symbol of valor, patience and self -respect and now we will all take it forward on the path of development and prosperity. The Chief Minister said that through various schemes, skill training, sports and education of the government, the government is committed to give a new opportunity to every youth. Sai called upon the youth to join the mainstream and become the bearers of change in society and participate in the construction of strong, safe and prosperous Bastar.

“Youth will become a medium to change Bastar”

The youth, who reached the capital from remote villages of Bijapur district, openly interacted with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. The youth not only shared their experiences, but also talked about their dreams and resolutions. He said that we want to improve our lives by following the path of education, sports, skills and service. Bastar has to be changed, and we want to participate in this change.

The youth said that the ‘Nayed Nella Nar’ scheme has given him a new identity and direction. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam as well as senior officers were present on the occasion.
