The “Madhya Pradesh Public Service Promotion Rules, 2025” has been notified in the state’s Gazette (Gazette) on Friday by the General Administration Department of Madhya Pradesh Government. With the release of this rule, there is a possibility that a petition can be filed in the High Court to challenge this rule or any provision by various associations or government servants.

What is cavite and why is it filed?

Caviat is a legal notice, which is filed by a party against the potential petition to inform the court to inform the court that if a petition is filed on the concerned subject, then before passing an order in favor of the petitioner, the side of the caviotor (here, the general administration department) must be heard. This is necessary to keep the judicial process balanced and avoid unilateral decisions.

MP: Advocate will be sent to Advocate General Office

The General Administration Department has also directed that if any type of petition or legal challenge is filed against Madhya Pradesh (MP) Public Service Promotion Rules, 2025, its advance copy should be made available immediately to the Advocate General Office Jabalpur, Indore or Gwalior. This will enable the government’s legal preparation and the process of presenting the parties.

In this regard, Deputy Secretary Ajay Katesaria informed that the State Government (MP) has initiated this legal action to protect the rules with full vigilance. This step reflects the policy of the state government that has made an attempt to maintain administrative transparency, legal readiness and order in services.
