PM Modi discussed US President Trump on ‘Operation Sindoor’ for 35 minutes

The Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi (Modi) has clearly stated to the President of the US (US) Donald Trump that India does not accept the mediation of third party under any circumstances. Neither before, nor does it happen in future.

During the G7 Summit, this message was directly given to Trump on the phone, because according to the program, the meeting of face-to-face was not possible due to the Israeli-Iran crisis. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the conversation over the phone took place at the request of President Trump, which lasted for about 35 minutes. During this, PM Modi clarified India’s policy and said that India’s stand in issues related to Kashmir or Pakistan has always been that this is a bilateral matter and the role of a third party is not acceptable.

35 minute conversation

Prime Minister Modi and President Trump were scheduled to meet during the G7 Summit but Trump had to return to America early, due to which it could not meet. After this, on the insistence of Trump, both the leaders spoke on the phone today. This conversation lasted about 35 minutes. After the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, President Trump expressed condolences to Prime Minister Modi over the phone and expressed support against terror. This was the first conversation between the two leaders since then.

Discussion in detail on Operation Sindoor

Prime Minister Modi spoke in detail about Operation Sindoor from President Trump. PM Modi clearly stated President Trump that after April 22, India had told its determination to take action against terrorism to the whole world. Prime Minister Modi said that on the night of May 6-7, India had targeted only terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan authorized Kashmir. India’s action was very ‘balanced, accurate and avoiding stress’.

JD Vance called PM Modi

Vikram Egyptian said, ‘India had also made it clear that India would respond to the pill of India from the shell. On the night of May 9, Vice President JD Vance called Prime Minister Modi. Vice President Vance had said that Pakistan can make a big attack on India. Prime Minister Modi had told him clearly that if this happens, India will give Pakistan a bigger answer than that. On the night of 9-10 May, India gave a very strong reply to Pakistan’s attack and caused a lot of damage to the Pakistan Army.

‘Never talked about ceasefire or trade deal’

He told, ‘India had defused the military airbase of Pakistan. Due to India’s befitting reply, Pakistan had to urge India to stop military action. Prime Minister Modi clearly stated President Trump that during this whole incident, there was no talk on topics like Indo-US trade deal, at any level, India and America on behalf of India and Pakistan. The matter of stopping military action was directly between India and Pakistan through the existing channels of both armies and on the request of Pakistan.

‘Operation Sindoor still continues’

Prime Minister Modi insisted that India had never accepted, neither does it nor will ever do arbitration. There is a complete political courage in India on this subject. President Trump understood the things mentioned by the Prime Minister in detail and expressed support for India’s fight against terrorism. Prime Minister Modi also said that India now sees terrorism not as a proxy war, but the operation vermilion of India is still going on.

PM Modi invited to come to India

President Trump asked Prime Minister Modi whether he could stop in America in return from Canada. Due to pre-determined programs, Prime Minister Modi expressed his inability. Both the leaders then decided that they would try to meet in the near future. President Trump and Prime Minister Modi also discussed the ongoing struggle between Israel-Iran.

Both agreed on Russia-Ukraine stress that for the earliest peace, direct conversation on both sides is necessary and should keep trying for it. The two leaders shared their perspective regarding the Indo-Pacific sector. And expressed support for the important role of Quad in this field. For the next meeting of Quad, Prime Minister Modi invited President Trump to visit India. President Trump accepted the invitation and said that he is keen to come to India.

The situation in India and Pakistan is clear

In the conversation, the Prime Minister also clarified that the military tension between India and Pakistan recently did not mediated America or any other country. The conversation related to stopping the border military action was through the already existing military channels between the armies of the two countries, and that too on the initiative of Pakistan.

In this conversation, PM Modi also informed President Trump about Operation ‘Sindoor’. This was the same operation in which India took concrete military action to respond to cross -border terrorism. Trump also discussed this issue with Prime Minister Modi and assured India to support terrorism as before.

The Foreign Secretary said that PM Modi also invited Trump to come to India during this period. However, no announcement has been made yet on the date and form of the journey. The talks took place at a time when new discussions are going on about the Indo-US trade agreement and international strategic equations are intensifying on India’s role in South Asia.

In such a situation, this direct and strict comment by PM Modi not only reflects the continuity of India’s foreign policy, but also makes it clear that India will not compromise on its sovereignty and strategic interests. This statement is also a clear indication for the US that India will not tolerate any third party interference in its regional matters.
