Technical fault in Air India plans going from San Francisco to Mumbai, passengers landed in Kolkata

Passengers had to land at Kolkata Airport due to technical fault in the Air India flight coming from San Francisco to Mumbai. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when the flight landed at Kolkata Airport at 12:45 pm on its scheduled time.

Technical disturbances were found in the left engine of Air India flight AI180, due to which the takeoff of the aircraft was delayed. All the passengers were asked to get off the aircraft after announcing inside the aircraft at around 5:20 am.

Decision taken keeping in mind the flight security

The captain of the flight told the passengers that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the flight security. At present, technical investigation of the aircraft is being done. After the plane crashed in Ahmedabad, technical disturbances have been reported in many Air India aircraft in recent times.

Black box of Air India aircraft found

Let us know that the team investigating the Air India aircraft accident has got the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) i.e. black box. The officials confirmed this on Sunday. This discovery will prove to be decisive in finding out the cause of this horrific accident, in which 270 people have died so far. Among the dead, apart from 241 passengers and crew aboard the plane, 29 people are also included on the ground.

According to the information, Aaib has started a detailed investigation into this accident. Also, the US National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) is also conducting parallel investigation under the international protocol due to the aircraft being created by the aircraft.

Defeat in engine
Air India flight was from America’s San Francisco via Kolkata to Mumbai. Flight Kolkata landed after flying from San Francisco. Engine disturbances were found here during fuel filling and technical investigation. The technical team said that there is a problem of overheating in the engine. Also, there is a mechanical malfunction. The pilot then decided to cancel the flight from Kolkata to Mumbai. Then 240 passengers were taken out of the plane 14 crew members.

The aircraft grounded
The Kolkata Airport Authority said that the aircraft has been grounded for technical investigation after finding disturbances. The team of experts is engaged in repairing and investigating the flight. Work is being done to reach the passengers to their destination soon. Air India said that passengers will also be contacted for compensation and refund process.

News of technical fault came on Monday also
On Monday, two flights of Air India had to return due to technical fault. Flight AI9695 from Delhi to Ranchi was to land at Birsa Munda Airport at 6.20 pm, but it was turned back to Delhi due to technical reasons. Earlier, Air India flight AI315 coming from Hong Kong to Delhi landed back in the Hong Kand due to technical fault.

On Sunday too, technical fault was seen in two flights
On Sunday, two flights also saw technical disturbances. The British Airways aircraft, which left Chennai from Heathro Airport in London, was brought to Heathro a few minutes later. When the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was at an altitude of 15 thousand feet, there were indications of disturbances in the flap system. At the same time, smoke was seen coming out of the wheels of a Saudi Arabia aircraft landing from Jeddah at Lucknow Airport. The aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) team reached the spot and controlled the smoke with Saudi Arabia’s team. All passengers were taken away safely.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s helicopter spoiled
The helicopter ZM of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who came to Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh to address the concluding session of BJP’s training class, deteriorated 2967. Singh was dispatched by another helicopter. Later, the damaged helicopter was fixed and sent at 5.30 pm.
