The updated version of the Super Meteor 650 is bringing Royal Enfield, the new feature of TFT screen will be with upgrade suspension

If you are planning to buy a new Royal Enfield bike, then this news is for you. The company is updating its famous bike Super Mitior 650. It has been seen recently during testing, which is getting information about possible changes in it.

Spain visited during testing

Royal Enfield is preparing an updated version of its popular cruiser bike Super Mitior 650. This bike has been seen during testing on the streets of Spain. It is being speculated that the company may soon launch this model in the market.

There may be changes in design

‘650’ badging can be seen clearly on the side panel of the bike. This indicates that there will be no major changes in the engine. However, there are indications of improvement in suspension system. The rear suspension can get a new spring setup. Also, mild changes in front forks are also possible.

Breaking system will remain the same as before

The bike has seen a single disc brake system in the bike, which is like the current model. From this it is clear that Royal Enfield is mainly focusing on suspension and riding comfort, not the braking system.

A big change may come in the display

A testing device was seen in the test bike, which indicates that the new model will come with updated displays. It is believed that the company can give a TFT screen like Himalayan 450, which will come with features like navigation, call alert and smartphone connectivity.

There is no possibility of engine change

The bike will get a 648cc parallel twin engine, which is also present in the current model. The engine generates 47 bhp power and 52 Nm of torque and is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. So riding performance is expected to remain the same as before.

Launching timeline

No official announcement has been made by the company about the launch date of this bike so far, but it is believed that it can be launched in India in the first half of 2025. Before this, its production model and price information can be revealed.

Potential price

The current Super Mitior 650 is priced at around 3.54 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). It is possible to increase its price from 10,000 to 20,000 rupees with updated features. That is, its estimated price can be around 3.70 lakh rupees.

Who will compete with

The updated Super Mitior 650 will compete with bikes like Honda CB650R, Benelli 502C and Keway V302C. These are all mid-size cruiser segments bikes, where the Super Mitiyar is already holding its strong hold.

What will riders get new

Suspension has been upgraded to improve ride quality in the bike. Also, new features like TFT screen will make it technically more advanced. These changes will make the bike not only stylish but also smart.
