The 86 -year -old elderly, infected in the city, died in MMI Hospital Raipur. This is the first case of the death of Corona positive patient in the state. On Sunday, in the presence of Health Department and Corporation staff, his funeral was done at Muktidham in Kanharpuri under the protocol. During this time only seven people of the family were present. The body was brought directly to Muktidham from the hospital.
Family members said that the elderly was admitted to a private hospital in Raipur on 14 June due to difficulty in breathing, which died a few hours later. Hospital management had informed about his being infected.
Family members have Corona Test
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Netram Navratan confirmed the death that the family felt the elderly under the protocol. Contact tracing will be done on Monday. Samples of family members will be sent to them for investigation of Kovid-19. Family is home -quarrant until the results come. Family members themselves released information about the death of the elderly from Korona through social media. He ensured that people were made aware in this regard.
