The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana villagers are not only giving firm houses to the needy, but they are also giving new and self-respect to their dreams. One such story is 70 -year -old Santu Chakres, a resident of village Dora in Kansabel development block of Jashpur district.
For years, the elderly Santu Chakres, who lived life in difficult conditions in the raw house, is very happy today because he has found his first pucca house. The special thing is that he got the key of this house from the hands of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, when he was recently on Jashpur.
The emotional satu Chakres thanked the Chief Minister and said that “When I want to live free from anxiety at this stage of age, then this pucca house is the blessing of God for me. Now I and my family are neither afraid of rain nor poisonous animals. Now we have a safe and strong home.”
Santu Chakres told that he had approved a pucca house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which is now fully ready. It is not just a house, but a symbol of self-esteem, security and durability for them.
After living in a house like a hut for years, when he got his own solid roof, his face was worth seeing.
