World Environment Day will be held on 5 June at Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center. Principal Secretary Environment Shri Navneet Mohan Kothari said that World Environment Day will be based on One Nation, One Nation and Plastic Pollution. Mr. Kothari reviewed with departmental officials regarding the preparations for the state level program on World Environment Day. He instructed all the officers to do proper work.
Principal Secretary Shri Kothari said that “a tree mother’s name” campaign will be launched on the occasion of Environment Day. Also the integrated environmental management system portal will be launched. He said that the State Weightlands Atlas will be released on this occasion. Shri Kothari said that Mr. Kothari said that PHD scholarship and Madhya Pradesh Annual Environmental Award will also be distributed in the program. Member Secretary Mr. Achyudanand Mishra and departmental officers were present.
