This is the same holy land where mother Ahilya composed such a golden chapter of religion, justice and service, which is still a pioneer for governance, administration and society. On 31 May 2025, the commencement of the Metro train from the tax lotus of the famous Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a concept to connect the soul of Indore with modernity.
It is such a beautiful coincidence that on this day, ‘Women Empowerment Mahasammelan’ is also being organized at Jamburi Maidan in Bhopal, the city of Rani Kamalapati, which the Prime Minister himself will address. On this historical occasion, Satna, the holy land of Maa Sharda and Dhara Datia of Maa Pitambara will get the gift of the airport. All these programs are bound by the same thread… ie development and trust, speed and pride, transport and change.
Vikas journey from tempo to metro in Indore amazing
The development journey of Indore has reached the metro train from Tempo today. How fast everything passed and its Indore now became a metro city. The introduction of the metro in the city is a change of entire lifestyle with a smooth transport facility. The project will take the identity of cleanliness, discipline and innovation of Indore to new heights. The first phase of the metro will open new doors of smoothness, environmental protection and economic prosperity. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, this project is also a strong step towards making Madhya Pradesh ‘smart state’.

Women power is not Ardhangini, the presiding place for the upliftment of society
In our double engine government, women empowerment is not only a matter of policies, but a renaissance of cultural consciousness. Mother Ahilya Bai Holkar is a symbol of this. He set such an example of religion, justice and public welfare by sitting on the throne, which is still relevant today. Hundreds of ghats built by him, food fields for the deprived sections of the society and the open court not only made their rule a ‘vraja’, but also showed that women Shakti is not a semi -ardhangini, the presiding of the society. Mother Ahilya’s life has been dedicated to society, culture and nation. His personality and work is precious fund. His classic views give the message of ‘Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay’ in every era. Today our government is on the path of public welfare with this goal. Programs like Ladli Bahna Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Self Help Groups in the state are modern forms of the same tradition through self-help groups. In this sequence, Deendayal Jan Aajeevika Yojana is being run for the economic empowerment of the sisters of urban area in Madhya Pradesh.

Programs like Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Khata, Maternity Vandana Yojana and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao implemented by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have given a new direction to the lives of crores of daughters and sisters. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav ji in Madhya Pradesh, unprecedented works are being done to ensure rights, education, employment and security for women. This is a real form of mother Ahilya’s ideals, justice, compassion and balance of power.
Confluence of cleanliness, culture and empowerment in Indore
What I learned in politics, he learned from the land of mother Ahilya. As a public servant, when it comes to development, there is only one goal in my mind… Our country, our state, our culture and our pride. I am satisfied that my Indore is the cleanest city today and is a symbol of women empowerment. In this sequence, we have decided that the first station of Indore Metro will be named after Maa Ahilya Bai. Now that on May 31, the first train of Indore Metro will run and millions of sisters in Bhopal will listen to the inspiring ideas of the Prime Minister, then it will not only organize the event, but will be the conch shell of the new age of Madhya Pradesh. This will be a resolve to connect the ideals of mother Ahilya with modernity.
I wish the people of Indore and Madhya Pradesh a very happy this historical occasion. It is a moment of pride that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, we are taking the land of Madhya Pradesh to a new peak of development and respect.
