In fact, after the free trade agreement between India and Britain (FTA), the tax on Britain’s beer has been reduced by 75 percent. This will benefit beer enthusiasts on Britain’s beer up to 75 percent cheaper prices. Also, tax on Britain’s Scotch whiskey has also been reduced, which will also make it cheaper.

Britain’s beer became cheaper than FTA

Till now, Britain’s beer was taxed up to 150 percent in India, but now this tax has been reduced to 75 percent under the FTA agreement. Beer enthusiasts will benefit from this tax cut, because now Britain’s beer will be much cheaper than before. The benefit of this agreement will not only get beer fonds, but will also reduce tax on other British products. This free trade agreement between India and Britain was completed on 6 May. Under this agreement, India has not given any fee concession on Britain’s wine.
