There was a time when women were confused about security, education and employment, but today the situation in Madhya Pradesh is changing. The state government is working towards women not only cooperation, but to give a new identity of respect and self -reliance. Today, Madhya Pradesh is not just making schemes, he is building a thinking where a woman is not a weakness, but is synonymous with power. This change can be seen gradually in every house, every village and every city. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is constantly working actively for the all -round development and empowerment of women of the state. He says that we are seeing women empowerment not only as a public movement as a plan. The Nari Shakti Mission is an expansion of our approach in which women are being connected from every district.

Working women will now get “their safe residence”

There are 3 working women hostels of 250 bed capacity in Indore and Bhopal in the state. In addition, 5412 bed-level 8 new hostels have been approved in the year 2024-25 under the “Scheme for Special Assistant to States for Capital Investment” scheme. Of these, 4 will be run by the Women and Child Development Department and 4 Industries Department. In this, approval of Rs 40.59 crore has been received for 4 hostels of 100-100 beds in Singrauli, Dewas, Narmadapuram and Jhabua. Now women working away from home will get safe and convenient accommodation.

When life is difficult, then one stop center supports

One stop center for women trapped in domestic violence, exploitation or any crisis has emerged as a ray of hope. 57 forest stop centers are already operated in the state. Through which 31 thousand 763 women were assisted in the year 2024-25. Now 8 more new centers have been approved- One Stop Center has been approved in Petlavad, Pithampur, Manavar, Lasudia, Saaben, Maihar, Pandhurna and Mauganj. So far, a total of one lakh 27 thousand 94 threatened women have benefited from these centers.

A call, and help

Women’s Helpline 181 and Child Helpline 1098 have now been linked to 112 emergency service. That is, if any woman is in trouble, then only one call can all get police, counseling, shelter and legal help together. In the year 2024-25, about 82 thousand 552 women have received quick assistance. Since the beginning of the scheme, one lakh 57 thousand women have got benefits.

Earning of sisters’ rights: directly in their hands

Under the Ladli Bahna scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1551.86 crore is reaching their accounts in the account of 1.27 crore sisters every month. Not only money, but also digital literacy is being given so that sisters can not only participate in digital age, not consumers.

Small steps, big flight – Ladli Laxmi Yojana

Under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana, 2 lakh 73 thousand 605 girls were registered in the year 2024-25 and a scholarship of more than Rs 223 crore was distributed through Uni-Pay. So far, a total of 50 lakh 41 thousand 810 daughters are part of this scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana

Like the previous years in the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, this year also Madhya Pradesh provided financial assistance to 100 percent eligible beneficiaries. In the year 2024-25, about 6 lakh 30 thousand 929 beneficiaries women were registered.

Women entrepreneurship on the path of self-reliance

The Chief Minister’s Enterprise Shakti Yojana has supported thousands of women groups at low interest and supported their small businesses. Now women are not only running homes, but also providing employment to others. So far, an amount of 648.67 lakhs has been distributed as 2 percent interest grant to 30 thousand 264 women groups and 12 thousand 685 women entrepreneurs.

“Shakti-Sadan” is becoming a support in difficult times

For such women and girls who are in extremely difficult circumstances, 14 Shakti Sadan are being operated in 13 districts, where they get safe temporary shelter. In the year 2024-25, one thousand 824 women and 461 children have been benefited. Shakti Sadan will be established in all 10 divisional headquarters in the coming time.

Change from strong duct- 156 got jobs

Thousands of girls have received preparation for competitive examinations and self -defense training under ‘Empowerment Corps’. Under this, more than 11 thousand girls were given educational and physical training for competitive examinations, out of which 156 women were selected in various government posts. Also, more than 2.6 lakh women participated in an awareness campaign regarding security and rights.

A state, a resolution – to give respect to women power

Under the Nari Shakti Mission, the state government launched a 100 -day awareness at the district, project and village level “Hum Hoga success”. In this, women of gender dialogues, domestic violence, child marriage, cyber security, harassment at workplace and digital literacy programs were not only informed, but also taught them to stand for their rights. Certainly, due to these efforts of the government, women are getting self -reliant in Madhya Pradesh and are building a strong nation.
