BMO suspended and contracted doctors free

Raipur

After the death of two children at Primary Health Center Raghunathpur under Lundra development block of Surguja, Collector Surguja Vilas Bhoskar has suspended Lundra’s BMO and free work with immediate effect in PHC Raghunathpur.

It is worth noting that a heart -wave happened in the village Silsila Dhodha Jharia. Two innocent children died due to drowning in deep and unsafe pit built for fisheries here. The deceased Suraj Giri and Jugnu Giri were both five -year -old cousins. The family alleged that the doctor posted at Raghunathpur Primary Health Center demanded Rs 10-10 thousand per body for post-mortem. Post mortem of the body was not done on not giving money. On Monday, when the villagers pressurized and complained, the post -mortem was done.

In the investigation of the case, it was found prima facie that Dr. Raghavendra Choubey Block Medical Officer Community Health Center Dhaurpur was negligent in laxity and duties in discharge of administrative control over their subordinate employees. Investigation also revealed that Dr. Aman Jaiswal, posted at Primary Health Center Raghunathpur, the conduct of contracted medical officer was also against the service rules. As a result, they have been relieved by their responsibilities.

It is noteworthy here that Collector Vilas Bhoskar himself inspected the Raghunathpur PHC Center and met the victim’s family and tied them up. The Collector also provided a check of financial assistance of Rs 4-4 lakh under RBC 6/4.
