Naxalite dump goods recovered in Chamda forest

The joint team of CAF and DRG of Dhamtari district has achieved great success during the search operation in the forests of village Chamda. The team recovered 10 cookers, ration materials and other Naxalite goods used to make cooker bombs hidden by Naxalites.

Additional Superintendent of Police Shailendra Pandey said that a search operation was conducted on the basis of intelligence information about the presence of Naxalites in Chamda forest of Khallari police station area. During this time, dump goods of Naxalites were recovered. The investigation continues in the surrounding areas.

It is noteworthy that on 27 April also, a joint team of DRG and CAF in the forest between Chamda and Salhebhat of the Nagri area had recovered three cooker bombs, three amul milk cans bombs, two pipe bombs, a tiffin bomb, a walkie-talkie, medicines, ration, utensils and other materials during the search. Police and DRG teams are continuously running anti -Naxal operations in the area.
