In the tribal dominated state of Chhattisgarh, the state government has taken innovative initiative to make tribal museum to the common man by creating a Tribal Museum. For this, a grand and attractive tribal museum (Tribal Museum) has been built in about 10 acres in Nawa Raipur Atal Nagar. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the state’s first Tribal Museum today.
Chief Minister Sai first entered the newly constructed Tribal Museum by breaking the gate and quince at the main gate in the inauguration program. At the same time, in the entry gallery, worshiping nature power with five elements. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam were present on the occasion.
In his address, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai thanked the then Prime Minister revered Atal Bihari Bajpai ji, the creator of Chhattisgarh, and said that Atal ji made Chhattisgarh a separate state keeping in mind the tribal dominated area. During the tenure of Atal ji, the Ministry of Tribal Welfare was formed in the Central Government for tribe development. At the same time, the famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented the Earth Aba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan for the all -round development of the tribals and the PM Janman Yojana for the special backward tribe group.
Chief Minister Sai said that in India today, Mrs. Draupadi Mooreu of the tribal community is beautifying the highest position like President.
Chief Minister Sai said that the special identity of our Chhattisgarh state is from our beautiful tribal culture. Chhattisgarh has diversity in tribal culture and every tribal community has its own unique identity. The state is 43 tribal communities and has many sub -castes. Along with this, there are special backward tribes in our state. The beautiful world of the tribal community, their food, dress, music, folk art, instruments, dances will all be seen in the museum. It has 14 galleries and each gallery is built on a special theme.
Chief Minister Sai said that this museum will not only preserve the traditions, art and culture of tribal society, but will also play an important role in connecting the younger generation with its roots. The museum depicts the lifestyle, costumes, folk arts, customs and religious beliefs of various tribal communities of Chhattisgarh through visual and digital mediums.
Chief Minister Sai said that this museum has shown a glimpse of the multicolored culture of our tribal areas. This glimpse will inspire the audience to visit Bastar and Surguja and can see the things they have felt in this museum directly.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, who is presiding over the inauguration program of Tribal Museum, described the inauguration of Tribal Museum as a moment of pride. He said that Tribal Museum has been constructed to put tribal culture and their way of life in front of everyone in tribal dominated regions.
Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam said that now people will get complete information about every tribal community living in Chhattisgarh at one place in Tribal Museum.

It is worth noting that the tribal museum has a total of 14 galleries, in which all aspects of tribal lifestyle have been performed very beautifully. These included the geographical details of the tribes, Teej-festival, festival-festival and specific culture, housing and household appliances, hunting equipment (apparel) and jewelery, agricultural technology and equipment, tribal dances, tribal instruments, fire, iron construction, rope manufacturing, crop mining (planting seeds from plants), cutting, cutting, chilli-making, chilli-pasai, mandi-tapai and oil The equipment and traditional techniques used for processing are depicted. The state government completed the recruitment process for 300 posts of hostel superintendents through Vyapam in the past. In this, appointment letters cum posting letter was handed over to the newly elected hostel superintendents.
