Bhatapara
Bhatapara city police arrested Gulab Kosle (27), supervisor of Siddha Baba liquor Bhatti, hails from Circus Maidan, Bhatapara. It is alleged that he was illegally smuggling liquor to minor children.
Two minor boys were caught in suspicious condition near Siddha Baba railway gate during patrolling in the city by Bhatapara city police. During interrogation, it was shocked that the smuggling of liquor from both the children was being done by Gulab Kosle. It was told that despite knowing about being a minor, the accused engaged them in this illegal work by intimidating and giving them financial temptation.
The police took immediate action and detained the accused. During interrogation, Gulab Kosle confessed to the crime and said that he deliberately carried the liquor from the minors. Police seized 50 nos desi masala liquor worth Rs 5000 from his possession. The police registered a case under various sections and produced the accused in the court after arrest.
