A new assembly complex with grand and modern facilities is being built on an area of ​​51 acres

Construction of the new assembly of Chhattisgarh on 51 acres of land in Sector-19 of Nawa Raipur continues at a rapid pace. So far, more than 95 percent of the work has been completed. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh reviewed the progress of construction in detail in the high -level meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence today and directed to complete it by September 2025.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this building will become a symbol of democratic consciousness and cultural dignity of Chhattisgarh. Its grandeur and functionality will inspire the new generation.

The construction works of the new assembly building are divided into three major wings – Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Assembly House and Central Hall Complex. These include the work of spectators, media gallery, auditorium chamber, library, electrification, air conditioning, asphalt, horticulture, water and power supply, internal decoration and fixed furniture.

Responsibility of every department fixed: Adarsh ​​campus will be made by coordination

The meeting reviewed the work being done by Public Works Department, Horticulture, Culture Department and Chips. All departments were given clear instructions to complete the work within the stipulated time.

Inclusion of security and energy conservation: from fire fighting to solar panel

Fire fighting systems, rain water harvesting, state-of-the-art audio-video system, 300 kW solar panel and 500 seater auditorium are being installed in the assembly premises, making this campus an ideal example environmentally.

Culture confluence: Museum based on folk culture of Chhattisgarh will also be included

The culture department will also construct a museum dedicated to the rich folk culture of Chhattisgarh in the campus, which will showcase the cultural diversity and heritage of the state.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand, Mr. Mukesh Bansal, Dr. Basavraju S, Assembly Secretary Mr. Dinesh Sharma and senior officials of the concerned departments were present.
