Colonel Sophia Qureshi was born in 1976 in Pune. After birth, Sophia’s father shifted to Naugaon in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh with the family. His book is in Naugaon. Sophia received primary education in Naugaon itself. He studied at GTC School in Naugaon from first to third grade. Colonel Sophia grew up in Naugaon. He continued to transfer due to his father being in the army.
Colonel Sophia Qureshi’s name also swelled proudly as soon as the name of Madhya Pradesh came into the limelight. As soon as the operation was after Operation Sindoor, the army press briefing and Sophia Qureshi addressed the journalists, there was a wave of happiness across the state along with the entire Naugaon. Sophia Qureshi joined the army after studying in Baroda. Sophia is married to Colonel Tajuddin in the army. Sophia’s father Taj Mohammad Qureshi was also in the army. From father to uncle, grandfather, cousin and cousin are serving the country through the army.

Sophia’s entire family is retired from the post of Subedar in Sophia’s father Taj Muhammad Qureshi BSF in the Indian Army. His uncle Ismail Qureshi and Wali Muhammad have also been Subedar in BSF. Due to his father’s job, Sophia’s further studies took place in Baroda and Ranchi.
After completion of studies in Baroda, Sophia was selected in the Indian Army. She served as Captain from Lieutenant, then Major in Jhansi and Lieutenant Colonel in Gandhinagar. He is currently serving the post of Colonel. Her husband Tajuddin Qureshi is also a major in the army.
‘Daughter avenged sindoor of sisters and parents’ Sophia’s father Taj Mohammad Qureshi said, “Our daughter has done a lot of work for the country, we are proud of him.” Pakistan should be destroyed. My grandfather, father and I were all in the army. Now the daughter is in the army.
Mother Halima Qureshi said, the daughter has avenged the sindoor of sisters and mothers. Sophia wanted to follow the footsteps of father and grandfather. In childhood, she used to say that he had to go to the army.
Sophia also led the country to lead the Indian team in Exercise Force-18 in 2016. It was India’s largest foreign military campaign. In this she was the only female commander. Sophia served in the Peacekeeping Operations of the United Nations for 6 years.
Sophia’s relationship with Naugaon
Sophia Qureshi, who led the Indian Army at the Multinational Field Training Exercise, was born in Rangrej locality of Naugaon. His father Taj Mohammad Qureshi retired from the post of Subedar in BSF.

Sophia Qureshi passed the first class in Baroda and got selection in the army. She then became a lieutenant, then served as Captain with promotion, Major in Jhansi and Lieutenant Colonel in Gandhinagar. Currently, she is serving the country in the army on the post of Colonel.
