Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that hostel facilities should be provided in all cities of the state for the convenience of working women. The “Sakhi-Niwas” facility operated under Mission Shakti by the Department of Women and Child Development should also be expanded in the industrial areas where women employees are in large numbers. Activities should be conducted in departmental coordination for providing employment training to girls and women and upgrading their skills.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to ensure proper availability of health, physical development and nutrition of women and children, the Department of Women and Child Development, Health and AYUSH should implement it by making a fixed action plan. Necessary coordination should also be ensured with urban bodies and Panchayat Raj institutions for the availability and maintenance of Anganwadi buildings. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Wednesday gave these instructions during the review of the activities of Women and Child Development Department in the Ministry. The meeting also released a short film on the “Moti Eye” campaign run for Malnutrition -free Jhabua. Innovation was described as exemplary. Women and Child Development Minister Sunirmala Bhuria, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Departmental Principal Secretary Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami, Commissioner Women Child Development Mrs. Sufia Farooqui Bali were present in the review.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that an action plan should be submitted in a month to improve the system of providing supplementary nutrition food in Anganwadis. Ensure compulsory gram and other protein sources to provide protein -rich food ingredients. Milk should also be made available to the children of Anganwadi from milk unions. Provide complete nutritious diet to pregnant and lactating women. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with social institutions, industrial units of the state, the resources available in temples should also be used for the betterment of Anganwadis. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that before the possible delivery date for safe delivery, necessary arrangements should be developed for the stay and maintenance of pregnant women from remote villages and other places.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by setting a time limit, it should be ensured that Anganwadis in all the districts should be operated in government buildings. For this, available buildings of other departments including school education, panchayat and rural development, urban development and tribal work departments should also be used. At the district level, buildings should be constructed for Anganwadis on priority basis from panchayat raj institutions, urban bodies and MP-MLA funds, DMF and other resources. While adequate space and clean environment are available in buildings, Anganwadis should operate.

Assistance was provided to 31 thousand 726 women in the year 2024-25 through 57 One Stop Center operated in the state to assist women suffering from violence in mission power. 82 thousand 552 women were assisted this year from women’s help line-181. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, 58 lakh 70 thousand beneficiaries were paid one thousand 878 crore rupees as partial compensation for the loss of wages to pregnant women. In the strong duct innovation, 11 thousand 321 women were trained and 156 women were selected in various government departments. The meeting also reviewed Mission Vatsalya, Supplementary Nutrition Diet Program, Upgradation of Saksham Anganwadi centers, also education, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Ladli Bahna Yojana were also reviewed.
