In the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) 2025, Madhya Pradesh created a new identity on the global stage with its creativity, cultural heritage and tourism possibilities. On this occasion, famous actor Aamir Khan reached the “incomparable Madhya Pradesh” pavilion prepared by Madhya Pradesh. Additional Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh IT, Science and Technology Mr. Sanjay Dubey and Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla welcomed him to Waves.
Aamir Khan said that the people of Madhya Pradesh are cinema -friendly, so that the entire team engaged in filmmaking along with the actors experiences ease and simplicity in working. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh has Variety of Location, beauty, which makes it easier to shoot different scenes of film production. It not only reduces the duration of film production but also reduces the budget. Praising the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy-2025, he said that films being made in the rural environment of Madhya Pradesh are doing wonders in the cinema world. He expressed his desire to shoot films in the state in the coming future. He appeared eager to know and participate in the features of Madhya Pradesh’s new AVGC-XR Policy-2025. The film missing ladies shot in the state were officially sent by India to the Oscar Award.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that with pleasing shooting sites for filmmakers, shooting friendly local citizens, film colleague eco system, rich local culture with Madhya Pradesh have become especially Ease of Shooting Destination. Describing the characteristics of the film Tourism Policy, Principal Secretary Shri Shukla said that there is a provision of increase in the series of film and web series in the state. A maximum of Rs 1.5 crore is provided for the first time, Rs 1.75 crore on shooting for the second time and up to Rs 2 crore for shooting for the third time. Along with this, additional assistance is provided for making films in local language and giving work to local artists. Madhya Pradesh is now ready to give run for money to shooting hub Mumbai with its special assistance amount, single window film shooting permission, local talent.

In the cultural evening of Waves, “Amritasya Madhya Pradesh” Samvet dance drama scattered the unique and stunned presentation of “Atulable Madhya Pradesh” with his amazing and vigorous presentation. Under the direction of the famous choreographer Maitri Pahari, this dance drama made a wonderful performance of folk dances like Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Mohini Attam, Kuchipudi as well as Madhya Pradesh greetings, Bardi, Matki, Gond,. Apart from this, under the direction of Shri Mumtaz Khan in the dance drama, there was a special walk showing Textile of Madhya Pradesh like Maheshwari, Chanderi, Bagh.

The “incomparable Madhya Pradesh” pavilion of MP Tourism in Waves was the center of attraction of visitors due to the unique and interesting presentation of the state’s tourist destinations and culture.
