Famous singer Sonu Nigam is caught in controversy these days. The statement made by the singer in an event held at the East Point Engineering College in Bengaluru has come into the discussion. The Kannada community has been angry about this and the pro -Kannada organization has filed a police complaint against the singer.
Explain that the Kannada community said in its complaint that Sonu Nigam compared the fan of a Kannada to sing a serious terrorist incident, which has hurt the sentiments of the Kannada community. Sonu said, “This is the reason, what happened in Pahalgam. This is the reason what you are doing, who was just done. Look, who is standing in front.”

In the video, Sonu Nigam says, “I felt bad when a little boy was stubborn to sing Kannada again and again. This is the behavior that is at the root of events like Pahalgam. See who stands in front.” Since this statement, Sonu Nigam has been criticized on social media.
Sonu Nigam also clarified from the stage that he has great respect for Kannada language and people. She said that she has sung many Kannada songs earlier, but forced and aggression makes her uncomfortable, despite this, KRV has demanded action, describing Sonu Nigam’s statement as insensitive and inflammatory.
