Approval of 51 hostels for tribal students: Minister Dr. Vijay Shah

Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Vijay Shah said that the Central Government has approved 51 hostels for the economic, social and educational upliftment of the tribal class in the Prime Minister’s Tribal Tribal Justice Mahabhiyan (PM Janman). He said that the availability of hostels is also very important for the students but also for them. In this campaign, 1296 villages have been identified where 5 km. M No secondary school is operated in. Approval has been given to construct hostels in such villages.
117.30 crore proposal
So far, 51 hostels have been approved by the Central Government in the villages without school for tribal hostels. Administrative approval has been received for 22 hostels and the tender process has been completed. DPR is ready for the remaining 29 hostels. According to the hostel speed power portal, the proposal for approval of 38 and hostels has been sent to the Government of India for approval. On this, an action plan has been prepared at a cost of 117.30 crore at the rate of 2.3 crore per unit.
24 districts, 1296 villages
Minister Dr. Vijay Shah said that 1296 villages from 24 districts of the state have been identified for tribal hostels in this campaign. The acceptance proposal for the construction of hostels in three phases is in operation. In overall education, villages have been identified for hostels where there are no secondary schools within a radius of 5 km. In this category, 192 villages have been identified in Shivpuri district. The process of construction of 9 hostels for Shivpuri is in trend. In these, approval of 5 hostels has been received, the proposal to construct the remaining 4 hostels is under consideration. In this sequence, Vidisha is second with 129 villages, where proposals have been sent in the third phase for the construction of 6 hostels. Third place is Shahdol with 125 places where approval of 6 hostels has been received. Along with this, minimum 5 villages have been identified in Narsimpur. After this in the minimum order, there is a Morena district with 7 places where the number of identified hostels is 4 whose proposals have been sent for approval.
