Bigg Boss fame Ejaz Khan’s controversial show house arrest has created a ruckus. There was a ruckus on social media when some of the show’s vulgar clips went viral. In the videos, female contestants were seen taking off their clothes. In a video, contestants were asked to pose intimate. Seeing this vulgar clip of the show, there was a demand to ban it.
Owl app removed all episodes
Now there has been a big action against the show. All episodes of House Arrest Show have been removed from the Owl App Platform. The OTT platform has removed it from its official site due to the show’s bold and disputed content. According to reports, an FIR has been lodged against Aizaz Khan. Many political personalities have also criticized the show. Ejaz Khan and the makers have not yet received a reaction on this whole matter.

NCW sent summons
On the other hand, the National Commission for Woman (NCW) has sent summons to CEO Vibhu Aggarwal and host Ejaz Khan of the owl app. Both have been ordered to appear before the commission by 9 May. The owl app is accused of spreading obscenity. According to Saman, a short clip of the show went viral on 29 April 2025. In which Ejaz Khan was seen asking the female contestants to pose private intimate in front of the camera. The matter of contestants being unconfirmed and not tasting was ignored.
The Commission says that such a content is not only against the dignity of women, but also promotes sexual harassment in the name of entertainment. Such content normalizes the exploitation of women. The Commission said that if the allegations are proved correct, then it would fall under the category of serious offense under the Indian Justice Code, 2023 and Information Technology Act, 2000. The chairman of the Commission Vijaya Rahatkar said in strong words, “Any media content that will be against women will ignore or spread vulgarity, he will not be tolerated.”
Who is the contestants of the house arrest show?
The ‘House Arrest’ show was designed on the lines of Bigg Boss and Lockup Show. It was reported that this is a bold and unseeded reality show. Apart from bold actresses like Jewel Vashisht, Nehal Vadodia and Abha Paul, Humera Sheikh, Sarika Salunke, Muskan Aggarwal, Ritu Rai, Aushi Bhowmik, Simran Kaur, Jonita Dikruz and Naina Chhabra were part of the show. Newcomers like Rahul Bhoja, Sankalp Soni and Akshay Upadhyay got entry into the male contestants.
