Pakistani Hindus plead with Deputy CM Sharma, Deputy CM said – will talk to Center

After the Pahalgam attack, the life of about 125 Pakistani Hindus who came to take refuge in India is hanging on the balance. He came to India from Sindh on 22 April, meanwhile the government issued an order to Pakistanis to leave India within 48 hours. Pakistani Hindus have now met Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Sharma and pleaded for help.

A group of Pakistani Hindus, who reached Raipur, met Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma on Friday and told their problems and requested help. After which Deputy CM Vijay Sharma has assured him that he considers them not a common Pakistani citizen, but “Pakistan victims” and will talk to the central government for their permanent solution. Deputy CM Sharma said that the difficult situation of Hindus in Pakistan can be gauged by the objection of people from Sindh.

Sukhdev Lund, who is among these victims, who is a resident of Khanpur in Ghotki district of Sindh, clearly said that “we will not return to Pakistan.” Sukhdev has reached Shadani Darbar in Raipur on a 45 -day visitor visa and he is accompanied by a group of 24 people besides family.

Sukhdev said that he has reached India due to terrorist attacks and atrocities and is expecting asylum in Raipur. But after coming, he is facing many problems in the last 48 hours. Sukhdev told that earlier about 100 other Pakistani Hindus have also reached Raipur. All have demanded a permanent residence in India, so that they can live a safe life.
