During the summer holiday, a large number of people from Indore go on holidays in various cold regions of North India. Most of the people had booked for Kashmir. This booking is the highest between the last week of April to June.
Most of the people have canceled the Kashmir tour after the terrorist attack on Tuesday afternoon in Pahalgam, Srinagar. According to travel agents, about 20 percent of people have canceled their tour so far.
Hotel booking and trip plan canceled
Hemendra Singh Jadaun, president of the Travel Agents Association of India, said that on Wednesday, many tourists from Indore to Srinagar have canceled their upcoming tour. Hotel booking and other trip plans have also been canceled.
Apart from them, those who are not going yet, are avoiding their journey for late May or till June. Tourists who are already in Srinagar want to return to Indore at any cost. Many people are saying that no matter how much fare, but a seat should be received.
Other charge will not be charged
Due to the terrorist attack in Kashmir, the airlines are providing facilities to pursue the trip on the already booked ticket. No other charge will be charged for this.
The IndiGo company has offered all the booking before April 22 to book again by 30 April. At the same time, Air India has this facility till May 15, while Air India Express has given the facility to change the booking by 30 April.
Help in Srinagar
The Travel Agents Association of India is engaged in helping tourists in Kashmir. Hotels and other facilities are being collected for them. Along with this, food, water and travel arrangements are also being provided. Travel agents are constantly trying to provide relief to passengers.
