If you have purchased the car before April 2019, then instantly get the High Security Registration (Number) Plate (HSRP), otherwise you will have to pay a challan of 500 to ten thousand rupees if caught during the investigation. The time was fixed till April 15 for the Transport Department HSRP, after which the action will be taken now.
High security registration plates are to be installed in 40 lakh vehicles across the state and more than one million vehicles in Raipur district. Within the last few months, only 60 thousand vehicles have been installed in number plates. In such a situation, now the Transport Department and the traffic police will take action together.
Number plate has to be put in 40 lakh vehicles
Transport department officials said that high security registration plates have been installed in more than 60 thousand in the state and 24,903 vehicles in Raipur district. At the same time, 35 thousand vehicles have been registered. However, it is to be installed in about 40 lakh vehicles. For this, Rosmarta Setty and Real Mejan India Limited Company as well as automobile dealers have been given the responsibility of installing number plates.
Open counter in collectorate
A counter has been opened in Raipur Collectorate to get high security registration plates so that the drivers do not face any problem. Here HSRP is being made by making Rs 365 for the bike and more than Rs 500 for the car.
These are fixed fees
The fee of two -wheeler, tractor and trailer has been fixed at Rs 365.80 including GST, Rs 427.16 for three wheel, Rs 656.08 for light motor and Rs 705.64 for passenger car. All payments are being made with digital mode.
HSRP compulsory in all vehicles
Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravi Shankar said that it has been made mandatory to install high security number plates in two -wheelers, four wheelers before April 1, 2019. Instructions have been issued to all RTOs for this. After April 15, vehicles with high security number plates will be taken as per the Central Motor Vehicles Act.
