The Amarnath Yatra will run from 3 July to 9 August. This time the batch will be held in 5 to 8 stages. The registration for this has started from April 14, which will run till 31 May. Registration is being done in banks every day from 10 am to 4 pm. Banks have been given a registration slot per day according to the quota of 19 seats. At the same time, the number of registrations is reaching three times. The registration fee of each member is Rs 150.

This time the duration of the journey is 38 days. Every year more than 5 thousand devotees go from Durg-Bhilai for Amarnath Yatra. This time too, there is a lot of enthusiasm among them, but the bank’s facility for registration is not in Durg-Bhilai, there is disappointment. This time three banks have been authorized in Raipur and one in Rajnandgaon. Three banks of Raipur include PNB bowl pond, Jammu and Kashmir Bank GE Road, SBI Jai Pillar Chowk. Rajnandgaon includes Ramdin Marg of PNB.

Dnyaneshwar Tamarkar, who regularly traveling Amarnath, said that the form is downloaded from the website. According to the criteria, medical test will also have to be done. After this, one has to go to the bank to submit the form by taking a copy of the Aadhaar card.

Registration from biometric finger is being done here. Amarnath Shine Board has also started group registrations, which will be till 31 May. The per capita registration fee in the group is Rs 250. There may be a group of 5 to 30 persons in registration in the group. There is a free arrangement of housing, housing in Pahalgaon and Baltal in Amarnath. The first batch from the fort for the Amarnath Yatra will leave on 30 June and 1 July.

What is the process of registration?

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has more than 540 bank branches across India from where you can register.

Process of online registration

Go to the official website of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and click on ‘Online Services’ there. After that click on ‘Travel Preference Registration’ in the Dropdown menu. Read all the guidelines carefully, agree with the conditions and proceed for registration. Write your personal information like name, Aadhaar number, mobile number and your journey date. Upload a scan copy of your passport size photo and health certificate. After that, get your mobile verified by telling the OTP on your registered number. Then, fill the registration fee of Rs 220. After the payment is made, you can download your travel registration permit from the portal.

Process of offline registration

If pilgrims want to register offline, then they can go to the registration center or bank branch. Usually, token slips are distributed at places like Vaishnavi Dham, Panchayat Bhawan and Mahajan Hall, three days before the day of the journey. The pilgrim should go to Saraswati Dham for official registration and medical examination the next day. Pilgrims will have to get their RFID cards from specific places in Jammu.

Devotees hope to fulfill their wishes by seeing Baba Barfani. It is said in the Sanatan scriptures that by traveling Amarnath, you get as much virtue as Ashwamedha Yajna. It is also said that by traveling to Amarnath, a person gets a virtue as much as a visit to 23 pilgrimages.
