Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s difficulties may increase. The Delhi High Court has said that ‘Sherbet Jihad’ comment on the popular squash drink of Patanjali Ayurved’s founder is “unacceptable” and has shocked the “conscience” of the court. Justice Amit Bansal, while hearing the trial of Ruh Afja producer Hamdard, said, “This has shocked the conscience of the court. This is unacceptable.
Putting the side of Hamdard, senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi said that Baba Ramdev is constantly making rhetoric against Hamdard. The owners of the company are also attacking the religion.
Rohatgi also said that this is a case that is shocking to everyone, and it is beyond insult. This is a case related to generating communal division, it is like a speech that spreads hatred.

Justice Amit Bansal, who is hearing the petition of ‘Hamdard National Foundation India’ against Ramdev’s ‘Patanjali Foods Limited’, said, “It has shocked the conscience of the court. This is not appropriate. You (Ramdev’s lawyer) seek instructions from your client, otherwise strict orders will be given. ” Later Ramdev defended his comment and said that he did not name any brand or community.
What did Baba Ramdev say?
Let us tell you that recently a video of Baba Ramdev was revealed in which he was heard saying that people drink cold drinks to quench thirst in summer. They are actually like a toilet cleaner. He further said that on one side there is a poison attack like toilet cleaner and on the other side there is a company that sells syrup. Mosques and madrasas are built with the money earned from it. Baba Ramdev did not take anyone’s name but, it is believed that his target was on ‘Ruh Afja’.
Baba Ramdev further said that if you drink syrup, then it will support the construction of mosques and madrasas. But, if you drink the rose syrup of Patanjali, then Gurukul, Acharyakulam, Patanjali University and the Board of Education of India will move forward.
High court expressed resentment over the statement
Earlier, the High Court expressed strict displeasure over the statement about the ‘Sharbat Jihad’ given by Baba Ramdev and has called it incompetent and shocking the court consciousness.

The High Court said, this statement is unforgivable and shaking the consciousness of the court. This comment was given during the hearing of the petition, which has been filed by Hamdard Laboratories against a statement by Ramdev. This statement was given about Hamdard’s famous product ‘Ruh Afza’.
The High Court said that this statement cannot be justified in any way. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi appeared on behalf of Hamdard. Rohatgi argued that Baba Ramdev’s statement comes under the purview of Hate Speech. This statement is going to divide the society on religious grounds.

The lawyer appearing on behalf of Hamdard told the court that the case is not limited to tarnishing the image of ‘Ruh Afza’, but it also becomes a communal division -causing case.
The lawyer argued that this statement of Baba Ramdev is going to affect social harmony and communal harmony, which cannot be taken lightly. The court asked Ramdev’s lawyer to appear at 12 noon. The court again heard this issue at 12 noon.
