A 21 -year -old Indian student was shot dead in Hamilton city of Canada, raging a wave of mourning in the Indian community. The student has been identified as Harsimrat Randhawa, who was studying in a college in Hamilton. The incident happened when Harsimrat was waiting for the bus at a bus stop. An unknown car rider opened fire on him, killing him.
The case is related to firing:
According to local police, Harsimrat’s murder became a victim of firing between two car riders. Police said that Harsimrat fell on the spot after being shot in the chest. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately he died. The police is currently investigating the matter and an attempt is being made to identify the accused.
Condolences of the Indian Consul General:
The Indian Consulate General in Toronto expressed deep grief over the incident in a post. He said, “We are deeply saddened by the sad death of Indian student Harsimrat Randhawa in Hamilton, Ontario. We are in touch with Harsimrat’s family and our condolences are with him in this difficult time.”

Hamilton police said that they were informed of the firing at around 7.30 pm local time. When the police reached the spot, he found Harsimrat with a bullet in the chest. The police immediately sent him to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
