The Union Home Minister said in a post on ‘X’ that in various operations in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, Cobra Commandos and Chhattisgarh Police have arrested 22 notorious Naxalites with modern weapons and explosive materials. He said that 33 Naxalites in Sukma have surrendered and expressed confidence in the Modi government’s surrender policy.

A total of 11 active Maoists of Gram Panchayat BadaSatti surrendered mass surrenders on Friday, including two women under ‘Chhattisgarh Naxalite Surprise/Victim Relief Rehabilitation Policy-2025’. Among those who surrendered, three men and a female Naxalite were declared a reward of two lakh rupees each and a reward of 50 thousand rupees on a male Naxalite. In this way, Naxalites have surrendered a total of 8 lakh 50 thousand rupees from this village.
Amit Shah appeals to surrender to all hidden Naxalites

According to the language, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday called upon all underground Naxalites to surrender soon and join the mainstream, saying that the government is committed to free the country from the curse of Naxalism before 31 March 2026.

Amit Shah said that the Cobra Commando and Chhattisgarh Police have arrested 22 notorious Naxalites with modern weapons and explosive materials in various campaigns conducted in Bijapur district of the state. He said that 11 Naxalites have surrendered in Sukma’s BadaSatti Panchayat, due to which this panchayat has become completely Naxal-free.

Shah said in a post released on the social media platform ‘X’, “My appeal to the hidden Naxalites to adopt the surrender policy of the Modi government and enter the mainstream as soon as possible. Before 31 March 2026, we are determined to free the country from the brunt of Naxalism. ”

Addressing CRPF’s Foundation Day celebrations in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, the Home Minister said that Naxalism is now limited to only four districts of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that this problem will be eliminated from the country by 31 March 2026. CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) and CRPF, especially its Cobra Battalion, is playing a major role in ending Naxalism from the country.

Naxalites also released letters

New group surrender policy

Under the new group surrender policy, if 80 percent or more active members of any formation unit of the Naxalite organization collectively surrender, they will get a big benefit. The government has said that the reward issued on them will be doubled and given to them.

If all the Naxalite and militia members active in a gram panchayat area like Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada, Narayanpur and Kanker surrender, and the gram panchayat is declared as Naxal -free, then developmental works of Rs 1 crore will be sanctioned there.

Naxalites’ life will change in 120 days

The government will change the life of the Naxalites who attacked them by hiding from the force in the forests or killed in the encounter. The Chhattisgarh government has arranged in its new Naxalite surrender policy 2025.

Under the new policy, those surrenders will be kept in transit camp or rehabilitation center. Here he will be trained in some skill according to his interest. Will also be taught.

Honorarium every month for 3 years

Not only this, an honorarium of Rs 10,000 will also be given every month for three years. Plots in urban areas for housing will be linked to plans to join agricultural land, self -employment and business in rural areas.

The rule of completing the entire process of rehabilitation of Naxalites within 120 days has been decided so that Naxalites can return to the mainstream of society as soon as possible.
