A case has been registered against other members of the team including Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda in Jalandhar police station Sadar. A case has been filed against actor Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Veenit Kumar, director Gopichand Malineni, producer Naveen Malineni in Jalandhar police station Sadar. The case has been registered against the members of the film on the statements of Vikal Gold, resident of village Falriwal in Jalandhar. Section 299 BNS has been recorded for hurting religious sentiments.
The Christian community recently demonstrated outside the Police Commissionerate Office for a scene in the film ‘Jat’. The community alleges that in a scene of the film, the holy things related to the Lord Jesus and religion have been disgraced, which they had submitted a letter to the authorities with the demand for registering a case. In the complaint letter to the police, it was told that the ‘Jat’ movie hurts the religious sentiments of Christians by mimicking the scene of the Lord Jesus Christ (a wood -made cross).
‘Jat’ is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Along with Sunny Deol, the film also stars Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra in important roles. The film stars actor Randeep Hooda in the role of dangerous villain ‘Ranatunga’. The film also has an item song ‘Touch Kiya’ by Urvashi Rautela.
Along with Hindi, the film ‘Jat’ released in Tamil and Telugu has been produced by Maitri Movie Makers in collaboration with the People Media Factory.
Released on April 10, ‘Jat’ continues to perform well at the box office. The film has grossed over 60 crores. Encouraged by success, manufacturers have also announced Jat 2. The manufacturers reported that Jat will be revealed to the audience with 2 new missions.
