Jhajjar’s daughters Suruchi and Manu Bhakar of Haryana did wonders in the Las Palamas shooting range. Suruchi surprised everyone by winning two consecutive gold medals in the World Cup. At the same time, two -time Olympic medalist Manu Bhakar has to be content with the silver medal. While China’s Yao Kianxun won the bronze medal. The second international shooting Sports Federation of this year (ISSF) World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun Charan Suruchi scored 243.6 in 24 shots in 24 shots in the 10m air pistol women’s final on the very first day of the Charan. At the same time, Manu lagged 1.3 points behind them.
India tops the medal table

Suruchi ranked third after the second five shot series
Suruchi was continuously hitting brilliant target in the final. She moved to second place after the first five shots. Yao had gained an early lead and Manu was in fourth place. Uruguay’s Juliet Jimnez was third. After the second five shot series, Yao overtook Maing Yufei, which was just behind 0.1, while Suruchi slipped to third place and Manu retained his fourth place.
Manu’s hand went from the hand
After this Suruchi and Manu made a great comeback, while Meng’s performance fell. After some consecutive best shots, both the daughters of India came to the first and second place. Manu’s 16th and 17th shots remained a bit weak, causing him to lose the gold medal. Suruchi continued to perform well in the entire match.
Suruchi’s magnificent form intact
Finally Yao made a good comeback and won the bronze medal, leaving Juliet behind. But before the last two shots, Suruchi was 0.7 points ahead of Manu. In both these last shots, Suruchi performed better than Manu and maintained his magnificent form which started with the national competition held in December.
