Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that on the eve of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti, the state has received the gift of Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Kota-New Delhi 20155/56 Express through which connectivity will be better with the state capital Delhi, the state’s economic and social development will gain momentum and passengers will get easy, convenient and economical journey. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for this new train.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the gift of Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Kota New Delhi Express has been received by the state at an unprecedented speed, which was not imagined. He said that Ujjain residents will also get connectivity to the capital Delhi at a convenient time from this rail service. He informed that various projects worth one lakh 4 thousand crores are going on in the state. In the Union Budget of this financial year, Madhya Pradesh has received an allocation of Rs 14 thousand 745 crore. Through the Amrit Station Scheme, 80 stations of the state will be made world class at a cost of Rs 2700 crore. The state will also get four cmhai speed trains in the near future. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hoped that in future also the process of getting infamous gifts in the same way will continue.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Kota New Delhi 20155/56 Express through video conferencing. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Mrs. Savitri Thakur, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani and Rajya Sabha MP Sukwita Patidar were also present on the occasion.
Express number 20156 will run from New Delhi every day at 23.25 pm and the journey of 848 km will be set in about 13 hours and Dr. Ambedkar Nagar via Kota, Nagda, Ujjain, Devas and Indore will arrive at 12.50 pm the next day. Express number 20155 will run from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar daily at 15.30 pm and reach New Delhi at 4.25 am.
