Haldwani
Following strict instructions under the leadership of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the local administration has come in action mode in Haldwani in the state. In Banbhulpura area of Haldwani, the administration has raided illegally operating madrasas.
Many madrasas have been sealed during this period. During the action, the police have made strict security arrangements. These arrangements have been made because no disturbance spread in the area and law and order should also remain.

Please tell that Additional District Officer Vivek Rai has told that this action has been taken on those madrasas who do not have recognition. Madrasas where the rules of the Department of Each and Government were not being followed have been sealed. These madrasas have followed children’s safety, health, sanitation related standards.
The administration has earlier received serious complaints against some madrasas. There will be no seating arrangement of children, lack of cleanliness, lack of toilets, CCTV security system. Many were operating in mosques in madrasas. It is against government rules.
During this action, a large number of police forces have been deployed in the area. The local people have been appealed to avoid any kind of rumor and maintain peace. The administration says that this action is against the educational institutions being operated illegally. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given instructions a few days ago that all madrasas should be investigated in the state.
