Relations between the US and Iran are going on with the nuclear program. Iran has threatened military action many times over Iran’s nuclear program. After a long time between Iran and America, a conversation started once again. On April 12, the two countries had a conversation between the Oman’s capital Muscat which lasted for about two and a half hours. This conversation was indirect. That is, both sides were sitting in two rooms and the representatives of Oman were giving their message to each other. Both countries have agreed to hold the next meeting on 19 April.
Addressing journalists in Muscat after negotiations, Araghchi said that the first round of talks was “creative and held in a quiet and very respectable atmosphere. A calm and very respectable atmosphere was held. Any unfair language was used and both sides demonstrated their commitment to advance the dialogue until the attainment of a mutually favorable agreement from equal status.
What did the Iranian minister say?
Iranian minister Saeed Abbas Araghchi said that the next round of talks between Iran and America will be on next Saturday. However, this conversation can happen in some other place rather than in Muscat. He said that the two countries have decided that in the next conversation they will work on a common knock that takes towards an agreement. Araghchi hoped that the agenda of negotiation would be set in the next round and there will be a time table for it. He said that an effort will be made to start the real and concrete conversation now.
According to a report, earlier Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei was against a deal from America. However, the Iranian officials explained to them that the government may fall and there may be huge destruction in the country if not bowed before Trump.
The report stated that the big leaders of Iran’s Parliament and the judiciary told Khamenei that it is very important to negotiate if the military action of America and Israel is to be stopped. He warned that if the conversation did not take place or failed, then the attack on atomic bases like Netanz and Fordo is scheduled. Iran’s President Masood Pezeskian also told Khamenei that the economic condition and internal situation of the country is so weak that it can no longer bear the burden of any war. This conversation between the US and Iran can prove to be an important turn in their long -standing stress -filled relationships, but the result will depend on how much honesty and flexibility the two countries show. At the same time, the introduction of the conversation is considered a good step, but Donald Trump has given a clear warning that the US can attack Iran’s nuclear bases if there is no agreement.
Khamenei has laid these conditions
Under the pressure of Khamenei Iranian officials, now they are ready to negotiate a nuclear program with the US, but they have laid down some conditions for this. Khamenei has said that Iran can negotiate a small amount of uranium enrichment and keep strict monitoring on it, but has made it clear that Iran will not discuss its missile program, as it is an important part of its security policy. This can become a major obstruction for America. Iran is ready to negotiate its regional policy and support to terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Hizbullah and Huti.
Trump has warned to face a very bad day
At the same time, US President Donald Trump has warned that if there is no agreement, Iran will have to face “very bad days”. The US says that it wants to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons in any case.
