AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi once again opposed the Waqf law, calling it a black law and said that All India Muslim Personal Law Board is against this black law. Protests will continue till Bakrid.
He said that a protest public meeting is being organized in Hyderabad Darussalam from 7 pm to 10 pm on April 19. The meeting will be held by Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, Chairman of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.
There is no new amendment in favor of Waqf
Owaisi said that members of the Muslim Personal Law Board of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and large Muslim organizations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will participate in this protest public meeting. They will tell the public through their speeches that this Waqf (Amendment) Act is not in favor of Waqf. We are also trying to talk to the members of the Waqf Committee and if their schedule allows, they can also come and participate in the public meeting. ”
Owaisi said that the PM of the country is saying that your ideology should be nationalism. The Waqf Bill does not mention the Bohra community. Put a gun on his shoulder but gave him nothing. On the incident of Murshidabad, he said that even two Muslims died in the incidents of violence, even say about them? He said that we have always condemned violence.
This is ‘Lootera (Amendment) Law’: Owaisi
Owaisi opposed the government in the Lok Sabha on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. He said that this bill should be called ‘Lootera (Amendment) Act’ as BJP -led Sarkra wants to grab the properties of Waqf. Owaisi tore the copy of the draft of the Waqf Bill in the Lok Sabha. Participating in the Bill in the House, Owaisi said that it is an attack on India’s faith and has been brought to humiliate Muslims. He said, “By bringing this bill, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has waged a war against the country’s largest minority group.”
Owaisi alleged that it violates several provisions of the Constitution, including Articles 14, 26 and 29. Owaisi had said- ‘BJP and NDA government are working as robbers. They want to snatch Waqf properties. Why are you removing the survey commissioner (according to the proposed bill). This is the senior -most position. It is all for looting. It should be called ‘Lootera (Amendment) Law’, not Waqf (Amendment).
