The new rule of Donald Trump administration has increased the difficulties of immigrants living in America. In fact, now all immigrants will have to keep their legal documents and identity cards with 24 hours. President Trump’s new executive order ‘Protection of American people from encroachment’ has come into force from 11 April. Its purpose is to catch and deport illegal immigrants living in the US.
Laws will be strictly followed
The Alien Registration Requirement Act has been present in the US since the year 1940, under which all the immigrants living in the US have to register, but the law was not yet being strictly followed. Now this law will be strictly followed after Trump’s new executive order. White House Secretary Caroline Levit has issued a statement saying that ‘all illegal immigrants, who are living in America for more than 30 days, will have to register themselves before the federal government. If they do not do so, illegal immigrants will be arrested and will be deported by imposing a fine.
Registration of all immigrants is mandatory
Under the rules, all the immigrants above 14 years of age will have to register before the government and their parents will have to register children under 14 years of age. After April 11, all the immigrants coming to the US will have to register themselves within 30 days. There is a provision of both fine and jail sentence to those who do not do so. If a non -resident changes its address, then the government will have to give it to the government within 10 days.
After the new rules, people living illegally in America will have trouble and the sword of exile will be hanged on them. It is noteworthy that the immigrants living in the US, Green Card holders, H-1B visas or other legitimate immigrants will also have to be registered. There are about 54 lakh Indians in the US, out of which more than two lakh people are illegal immigrants.
