A case of fake appointment in ECGC Limited Company has come up at DD Nagar police station. Zero FIR (No. 016/25) was registered at Bandra-Kurla police station, Mumbai on the complaint of Lachman Gulabrai Rohira, senior manager of the company. A person named Vineet Kumar Ram Dayal Meena and an unknown person are accused of cheating in the recruitment of probationary officer.
Between 21 March 2022 and 22 March 2023, both of them got the job by joining the fake candidate in written examination and interview. The investigation found that the person appointed and the exams appointed are different. Raipur police started investigation by registering a case under Section 120 (B), 419, 420 Bhadvi.
Lachman Rohira said that ECGC had recruited 75 probationary officers in 2022. Vineet Meena applied and took the exam in Ion Digital Zone of Raipur. After the interview, he was appointed to the Bandra branch in Mumbai. But in doubt, the investigation revealed that the person who did the job and the examination was different. The accused later resigned and returned Rs 89,428 to the company. The police is now searching for both.
