NIA, who is engaged in spewing the truth from Tahwwur Rana, Dawood Ibrahim’s hand in 26/11 attacks?

New Delhi
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is continuously questioning Tawwur Hussain Rana, accused of 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Along with her role in the plot of attacks, NIA is now trying to add links to those who were involved in the plot of this attack from behind the curtain. According to sources, Rana was questioned for the second consecutive day on Saturday. The investigating agency is also investigating Rana’s possible relations with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his network ‘D Company’. Sources said that recording of dozens of calls between Rana and David Headley is being investigated to explore the attack and others involved.

Search for mysterious person found in Dubai
The NIA found an important clue of the person in Dubai from whom Rana met at the behest of David Headley. It is believed that this person was aware of the attack plan. The investigating agency is also investigating whether this person was connected to Dawood Ibrahim or D Company.

ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba can also add wires
The NIA is also investigating whether Rana had a direct or indirect relationship with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let). Investigators believe that the plot of Mumbai attacks had started around 2005. Rana’s new voice samples have been taken to cooperate in the investigation, which have been sent to match the calls that were done immediately after the attack. The agency suspects that Rana came to many parts of India before the attacks, where he played an important role in the conspiracy.

Detention in high-security
Rana was brought to India after extradition from America on Thursday evening. A Delhi court sent him an 18-day NIA to custody and now he is closed in the High-Security Cell of NIA headquarters in Delhi. According to the NIA, Rana is being questioned not only about the Mumbai attacks, but also about the possible conspiracy of terrorist attacks in other Indian cities. He has serious allegations like conspiracy, murder and helping terrorists.

Significantly, on 26 November 2008, 10 terrorists from Pakistan reached Mumbai by sea route and attacked several places including Taj Hotel, CST station, Nariman House. The attack lasted for three days and killed 166 people, while more than 230 people were injured. Now, when Tehwavur Rana is under India’s custody, NIA hopes that every person involved in this fierce attack will be identified and an important step will be taken forward towards justice.
