On the eve of the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the grand “Jaibhim Padayatra” was organized under the leadership of Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang. The padyatra started from the Shaurya Memorial of Bhopal and ended at the Shaurya Memorial via Ambedkar intersection. Minister Shri Sarang flagged off the Jai Bhima Padayatra from the Shaurya Memorial. A tribute was paid by garlanding the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar located at the board office intersection on the Padayatra Marg. Thousands of youth participated enthusiastically in the padyatra and paid tribute to Baba Saheb with a spirit of patriotism by holding the tricolor in their hands.
Youth should contribute to nation building by assimilating Baba Saheb’s ideas
Before the padyatra, Minister Shri Sarang while addressing the youth said that Jai Bhima Padayatra is not only a March, but is a resolve to assimilate the ideas of Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar, to bring them into his life. It is a source of inspiration for the youth, which inspires them to play an active role towards social justice, equality and nation building. He said that through Jai Bhima Padayatra we are expressing our gratitude to Baba Saheb, who gave us a constitution, which is a symbol of social equality, justice and freedom. If the youth of today imbibes their thoughts, then he can definitely make a meaningful contribution in a strong nation building.
Message given to make social justice and values of constitution aware
A large number of youth participated in the padyatra. All the youth took the tricolor in their hands and resonated the atmosphere with the slogans of “Jai Bhima” and “Jai Bharat” with full enthusiasm and enthusiasm. The purpose of organizing the Jai Bhima Padayatra on the eve of the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare was to make the youth aware of social equality, justice and constitutional values. It is noteworthy that Jai Bhima Padayatra was organized across the country on the eve of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary by the Union Ministry of Youth Program and Sports. Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, Deputy Advisor National Service Scheme Dr. Ashok Kumar Shruti, Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Shri Manu Srivastava, Sports Director Mr. Rakesh Gupta, State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Mr. Rakesh Singh Tomar, Rakesh Singh Tomar, Rashkum Verma, Joint Director of Bhopal, Mr. B.S. Many dignitaries including Yadav were present.
