The National Investigation Agency (NIA) 26/11 is interrogating Tawwur Hussain Rana, the main conspirator of the Mumbai terror attacks. There have been many new revelations in the questions and answers so far. It was learned that even after leaving the medical core of the Pakistani Army, he used to wear military uniforms while meeting Lashkar-e-Taiba militants and people associated with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. According to the report, Rana is a resident of Chichitani village in Punjab province in Pakistan and his father was a school principal. There are three brothers about Tehwavur Rana. One of his brothers is a psychologist in the Pakistani Army, while another is a journalist. She studied at Cadet College Hasnabdal, where she met David Coleman Headley (Dawood Saeed Gilani), who is associated with 26/11 attacks and is currently in American jail.
Tehwwur Hussain Rana moved to Canada in 1997 with his wife Samaraj Rana Akhtar, who is a doctor. Here he started the immigration consultancy and later started trading Halal meat. Consultancy was the mask of his terrorist activities, in which Headley played the role of advisor. The media quoted sources as saying that Rana, who had a medical degree, wore military uniforms even after leaving the service. In the uniform, he visited terrorist camps and kept in touch with groups associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and ISI. Tahwwur Rana was also in a touch of Global terrorist Sajid Mir, who is the most wanted fugitive of India. It was Mir who conspired to attack Mumbai’s Chabad House during the 26/11 attacks, killing 6 hostages.
Tehwavur Rana’s connection to Major Iqbal
The US has kept a reward of $ 5 million for the arrest of Sajid Mir. In the year 2022, India handed over an audio to the United Nations, in which Mir is heard talking to the attackers. According to NIA sources, Tahwwur Rana met Major Iqbal wearing a Pakistani army uniform, a suspected ISI officer. Iqbal is accused of funding, monitoring and giving instructions from Headley for reconnaissance missions. The report said that Headley accepted his crime in 2010 to avoid the death penalty. He revealed to share more than 20 emails with the person, which he knew by the name of Chaudhary Khan and whose Major Iqbal was nickname.
