NRDA allocated one and a half million sq ft land in Sector-5 within 45 days

Plant will be set up at a cost of Rs 1,143 crore, hundreds of people will get employment opportunities

Polymitek company proposes to Chhattisgarh for additional investment of 10 thousand crores

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today laid the foundation stone of the plant of Polymitech Electronics Private Limited, the country’s famous semiconductor manufacturer in Nawa Raipur. The company is one of the leading companies making semiconductor chips, which will set up a large factory in Chhattisgarh at a cost of Rs 1,143 crore. This plant, which will be built in one and a half million sq ft, will prepare 10 billion chips by the year 2030, which will be used in Telecom, 6G/7G, laptop and power electronics. The establishment of this plant will provide employment opportunities to the local people.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said in his address that it is a proud moment for all of us that the first semiconductor plant has been established in Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai said that special incentives have been given to the semiconductor industry in the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh, which will definitely get success in investment here. He said that whatever countries that have developed in the world, they have worked hard in the field of technology, have done research and have created an environment that made it possible for fast technological progress. Now 6G and 7G technology is also coming and I am happy that the chips required for them will be ready in our country, and our engineers will make them in Nawa Raipur, Atal Nagar.

The Chief Minister said that in an Investors’ Connect program held in Delhi in December last year, state officials met with the management of Polymitech and at the same time the company expressed his desire to invest in Chhattisgarh.

He said that in a very short time, the Department of Industries and NRDA provided one and a half lakh square feet of land for the company in Sector-5 of Nawa Raipur. NRDA completed the tender process in 45 days and allotted land and in less than 25 days, the lease deed registration work was also completed. The Chief Minister said that this initiative will prove to be extremely effective towards the creation of developed Chhattisgarh to realize the dream of developed India. He said that Nawa Raipur will definitely emerge as Silicon Valley of Chhattisgarh, and it has started with today’s Bhoomipujan. During this time, the Chief Minister also provided appointment letters to the youth working in this plant with his own hands.

On the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan, MD, MD of Polymitech Company Ishwar Rao thanked Chief Minister Sai for the readiness and cooperation of the state government. He also proposed an investment of Rs 10,000 crore to set up a power module fabrication plant in Chhattisgarh. Through this plant, new heights will be achieved in the fields of transistors, power electronics and electric vehicles. This will provide employment to more than 5,000 youth in the state.

On this occasion, Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Housing and Environment Minister O.K. P. Chaudhary, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, CSIDC President Rajiv Agarwal, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand, Industry Department Secretary Rajat Kumar, NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar, NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar, CSIDC MD Vishwesh Kumar and several senior officials and employees of Polymitek Company were present.
