Another big gift has been found in Madhya Pradesh to improve road connectivity. Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has passed a proposal to upgrade the National Highway-34 passing through Madhya Pradesh. He himself shared this information on X.

Approval of Rs 531.84 crore

While posting the information on the social media platform X, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari wrote that it has been approved with a cost of Rs 531.84 crore to upgrade a 2-lane with a paved shoulder, 63.50 km length of 63.50 km length of National Highway-34 in Madhya Pradesh.

4 bypasses will be built

Giving further information, it is written that National Highway-34 connects Gangotri Dham of Uttarakhand to Lakhnadoun on National Highway-44 (North-South Corridor) in Madhya Pradesh. The upgradation of Shahgarh-Damoh section includes 5 major bridges, Buxwaha, Batera, Narsinghgarh and Pipariya Champat 4 bypasses and Damoh’s constructed areas of Service/Slip Road (1.3 km on both sides). Connectivity will improve by joining this highway and economic development will also get a rapid promotion.

Demand was going on for a long time

National Highway 34 originates from Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh and Rajgarh in the state. There was a demand to upgrade this route for a long time. Let us know that, 63.50 km part passes through MP. The upgrade of this route will make connectivity easier.
