Indore Metropolitan Region (IMR) is being prepared by combining five districts including Indore. The consultant company has submitted a primary report, in which the blueprint has been drawn based on the data collected in the area. Now it will include the suggestion of the minister and the collector, after which the company will present the final report.

Thousands of villages of Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Dewas, Shajapus will join
A plan of Indore Metropolitan Region is being prepared at 2051, including 1756 villages of 29 tehsils of Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Dewas and Shajapur. Connectivity, industry and environment will be balanced in 9336 sq km area to control random development. The work of preparing it has been given to the Mehta and Associate Company of Indore, which has presented the initial report.

Preparation started for second report
More than one and a half dozen experts of the company have been engaged for the last two months in the work of preparing the plan, who collected data from all the districts at 26 points. Due to the scattered information, the team lost sweat. Nevertheless, the information of Shajapur, who later joined, has not been completed. However, on the basis of big information, the report of the entire area has been prepared, which was handed over to Collector Ashish Singh. Now the company has started the second phase of work in which the geographical location is being analyzed and analyzed on the basis of data revealed, while mapping is also happening. The second report will reveal the picture of the region.

Minister and Collector suggested
Last month, a meeting of the Divisional Commissioner, Collector and public representatives of the districts involved in the IMR was called at Indore Collectorate. When they were informed by giving a presentation, during that time some public representatives had suggested on the spot, and the rest of the suggestions were required in writing. In it, Minister Tulsiram Silavat and Dewas Collector have given suggestions. Now they will be considered.
