Tension of enemies of India will increase in the sea, Rajnath Singh showed the green signal to INS Sunayna

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh flagged off the Indian Ocean vessel ‘Sagar’ from Karwar naval base in Karnataka and said that it is India’s biggest objective to ensure free shipping, rules based system and peace in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). Addressing the people at the strategically important Karwar naval base, Singh said, “India’s deployment in the Indian Ocean region is not only for us but also for friendly countries.” The Defense Minister said that India’s effort is to make the Indian Ocean region more peaceful and prosperous.

Guard of Honor given to Rajnath Singh
Earlier, Singh inaugurated various infrastructure projects at the naval base. The Union Minister arrived at the naval base at around one o’clock in the afternoon, where he was given a ‘Guard of Honor’ at the parade ground. The Defense Minister landed at the major base by a military helicopter and he will attend several programs here.

The naval project is expanding the important naval base under the ‘Cabard’. The office of the Defense Minister posted on ‘X’ on Saturday, “Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will flag off INS ‘Sunayna’ as 44 workers on the Indian Ocean vessel ‘Sagar’ (security and development for all).” It has also shared a video in this post which shows the training stages organized on both land and sea under this mission.

The Defense Minister’s Office wrote, “IOS” Sagar “will play an important role in shaping the future of the Indian Ocean region, it will confirm India’s commitment to make strong connections with its marine neighbors and work towards a more secure and inclusive maritime environment in the Indian Ocean region.” The Indian Ocean vessel (IOS) ‘Sagar’ (Safety and Development for all in the region) is a constant cooperation in the direction of continuous cooperation with IOR countries.
